Back to School Brunch

We had some of the neighborhood kiddos over this morning for a potluck brunch.  These are the friends that will be the future class of 2027.  Over iced coffees, quiche and fruit salad the adults commiserated.  Ella passed out pencils as her friends slurped cereal.  We're trying hard to build a community around these kids.  School is a big deal, a milestone that should be celebrated.  Hoping report card day will be filled with just as many smiles.
