I am always so inspired by photographs of everyday life. Because what happens in between the combed hair, coordinated outfits of family celebrations and the first tooth is what defines us. So here we are in our everyday glory. It was a sick day for all and the cupboards were bare. I remembered the camera, hell I even remembered to grab the Manwhich. It wasn't until I got to check out that I realized I forgot my wallet. Unfortunately pictures of me packing up the kids, speeding home and swearing up a blue streak are not available. They would have made for some artistic imagery. There's always next time!
p.s. Poor Vivian. Almost seven months and juvie-bound. Don't know how many times we've walked out of the grocery store with produce "hidden" in her carseat. Last visit she scored an eggplant...and eeks, I don't go back to pay. Is that wrong? Don't we have some free passes, me being a social worker and all?
