We are so excited to have a three day weekend up in here! Ella's weekend wish list included a trip on the train. Sarah's weekend wish list included viewing Vivian Maier's photography at the Chicago Cultural Center. Jerry and Vivian's wish list included a patty melt and mashed peas respectively. Ella was riveted by the exhibit as evidenced by the pictures.
We really love being so close to the city. I've dedicated myself to showing the girls how to safely and smartly navigate their way around the city on the eL. Today's lesson: How to avoid the ubiquitous "wet spot" on the seats. I'm figuring it might be some time before we get to the lesson on enjoying the city's cultural offerings...but hey, gotta start somewhere.
